RESULTS: PRIMETIME FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS: BLOODLUST
March 24, 2009 by searstapper
The latest offering of the Primetime Fighting Championships certainly brought its share of challenges to the promoter. From incorrect bloodwork to figher no-shows and last minute safety policies invoked by the State of Illinois, it all amounted to a rocky show. MMA fans who came out to the Copernicus Center saw a card of just five fights. The fourth offering from Primetime FC, titled “Bloodlust,” should have been renamed “Learning Experience.” Despite the disappointing night, promoter Jacob Stahler promises an exciting night of action for the next show, which will be May 23, 2009. Read on for results of “Bloodlust.”

LJ,
Why did you remove my lengthy summary of how the event was a failure?
The promoter knew that there would only be five fights of a promised twenty and yet STILL took my $30.00 the day of the show.
He should’ve been offering refunds rather than allowing this abysmal event to go forward.
That was $30 bucks I could’ve used at the Admiral strip joint also on Lawerence Ave.

Chill dude. You actually posted that comment on the Bloodlust preview page. This here is the results. The comment is still up and we would never take it down.
We need people like yo to make the site work, and to get the most out of our MMA experiences around Chicago.
As for me, I’m told there were a significant amount of problems that were out of his hands. Let’s see how they do on May 23.
Zoner,
I already wrote and apologized to LJ @ Chicagosmma.com.
He and I are all good.
I hope the promoter does deliver, and has a fantastic show show to make up for the March failure!
I think we can both agree that Chicago is a great city with a great many opportunities for growth in the MMA community.

No prob Jay K.! Thanks much for checking out our site!
Actually I had 12 fights set to roll out when the doors opened. You can ask the commissioners if you think this info to be incorrect. I had a no show, 4 people with incorrect blood work, 1 with no blood work and then 1 who is a State Trooper who was involved in a Lock Down situation because of an attempted escape.
In return for the lack of fights I offered a 30% discount on the next show with a code for the website or a Bloodlust ticket stub at the door.
I explained the situation as thoroughly as possible without become very intricate and I did what I could to compensate. Opbviously not EVERYONE will be happy with how it was handled but I got 9/10 people telling me how it was handled was done with tact and class.
I apologize if it left a bad taste in anyone’s mouth. I promise it will never happen again.
You are the promoter, so don’t blame the blood work on the fighters. Check the blood work days prior the fight. You are the one who makes the money, not the fighters, so do some work.
