115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park is the center of the Chicago MMA universe once again when Cut Throat MMA presents another edition of The Brawl At Bourbon Street.

13 fights are scheduled with a 170 pound title fight between Jim Peterson and Brandon Del Prado. Peterson has a classic case of Randy Couture-itis, meaning he remains a competitive fighter despite the fact he is 42 years old.  According to promoter Mike Davis he has finished his last five opponents in spectacular fashion.

Meantime Del Prado is more than half his opponent’s junior,  checking into the cage at 20 years old.  If he wins he won’t even be old enough to walk over to the bar to enjoy a celebratory cocktail.

Davis is also hyping a match up of bad blood, as Ryan Kerwin and Tom Henson come into the fight with some baggage.   A fued exists between the two which has become personal, with both warriors exchanging internet insults and messages passed through mutual friends.

Gilbert Grappling standout Daniel Keenan also makes his return to Bourbon Street.  Dan has been fight of the night in his first two outings and will headline again this event.  Click here to watch his last fight.
The Brawl At Bourbon Street is Wednesday, May 20 2009.  For information and tickets click over to the EVENTS section check and out the event poster.
