CHASE BEEBE WILL FIGHT FOR UWC BANTAMWEIGHT TITLE

By

MTC and Gilbert Grappling standout Chase Beebe has some unattended business to take care of inside the Ultimate Warrior Challenge cage.  Last February the former WEC champion was supposed to challenge Mike Easton for the 135 pound championship, but Beebe suffered a controversial knee injury and pulled out of the fight.  Weeks later Beebe competed in the DREAM Featherweight Grand Prix and lost in the opening round to Joe Warren.

Now Easton and Beebe will finally fight each other and this time there’ll be no distractions from outside MMA organizations.  The Washington, DC based UWC will pit the two against each other in the main event of UWC 7 “Redemption” on October 3.  More details at UWC’s website and read the analysis of UWC TV commentator/Editor-In-Chief of Bloody Elbow Luke Thomas.  Beebe looks to use his wrestling to neutralize Easton’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu skills and take the belt from the champion.
