WEC: CERRONE VS. HENDERSON PREVIEW

WEC: Cerrone vs. Henderson features a tremendous card, and there should be more hype for it.

Cerrone and Henderson are both explosive, exciting fighters, each with only one loss on their records. Cerrone’s loss came at the hands of WEC Lightweight Champion Jamie Varner in a 5-round, split decision loss in which Varner retained the belt. Varner is injured and unable to defend the title, but a victory by Cerrone would get him the rematch he badly wants.

Henderson’s only loss came in his 2nd professional bout. He has fought twice in the WEC, both impressive wins. He steamrolled through Shane Roller at WEC 40, and submitted Anthony Njokuani at WEC 38. I will not be surprised if we are talking about “Fight of the Year” after this one is over.

This WEC card is packed with exciting fighters: Anthony Njokuani, Rich Crunkilton, Damacio Page and Scott Jorgensen are all fast-paced, crowd pleasing warriors. The full card and promo video are right below.
