VIDEO: THE BIG FROG LEAPS BACK INTO THE XFO

Jeff Curran will have a homecoming of sorts when he returns to fight in the XFO, the Crystal Lake based MMA event he co-promotes.  Curran’s opponent is Tomohiko Hori, a training partner of WEC bantamweight contender Takeya Mizugaki.  Jeff’s last opponent in the WEC was Mizugaki, and the Big Frog came out on the losing end of a controversial split decision loss.

The outcome of that match invigorated Jeff to ensure he finishes his future and avoid sending it to the judges.  He did just that in his last fight, defeating Dustin Neace with knees to the liver in last month’s Strikeforce event at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.

Curran talked to Chicago’s MMA reporter L.J. Tabano about his upcoming fight with Hori, the inability of some judges to comprehend the Jiu Jitsu game, as well as plans for 2010.
