David Sachs is injured and has withdrawn from his XFO 42 fight, according to a tweet sent to Chicago’s MMA by opponent Carson Beebe.
Beebe says his new opponent is Team Colon fighter Lloyd Carter, who cut his teeth as an amateur fighting for Fight Card and C3. As a pro, Carter is 3-2, with his last win coming over Wade Choate at TFC 17 in 2009, knocking out the veteran early in the second round
Carter most recently fought Danny Sykora at PC MMA 7 in Iowa, and was submitted via guillotine choke in the third round. His other pro wins came against Indiana fighter Darnell Davis and Michael Reyna, who he beat at C3 in February of 2009.
Beebe is coming off a stint on the UFC’s “The Ultimate Fighter” show, where he lost in his first bout to semi-finalist Johnny Bedford. Since then he’s scored two straight wins, beating Matt Wikoff via submission at Rockford Cage Fights 51 and posting a unanimous decision victory over Danny Aguirre at Chicago Cagefighting Championship IV. Beebe is 8-1 as a pro, his only loss coming in March to Team Top Notch’s Giovanni Moljo.
XFO 42 takes place Saturday, December 10th at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates. For tickets vist XFOMMA.com.
