Flawless CEO Deividas Markevicius expects fireworks during the main event of Saturday night’s Flawless debut, with both Lithuanian fighter Egidjius Valavicius and Wisconsin’s Will Dicke dropping bombs.
“Valavicius is the current Bushido FC Light Heavyweight Title holder and is currently on a five-fight win streak,” Markevicius told Chicago’s MMA. “He has won 14 fights by KO/ TKO, and most them them were finished in first round. He is well known in Europe and he can’t wait to come to show his talent in USA.”
Dicke is well-known around the Chicago area, having fought in the Combat USA tournaments and Duke Roufus’ NAFC.
“Dicke is great stand-up fighter with a five-fight win streak as well,” Markevicius said. “Both fighters are tough stand-up guys, and most likely there will be no decision in this fight. It should be great Main event.
The 33-year-old Valavicius has a lot of experience, with over 30 pro fights since turning pro in 2000. He even fought Fedor Emelianenko back in 2003. Dicke has only been a pro since 2009, but already has 17 pro fights in his career.
The only downer about the card is that Will Brooks will not be fighting on this card, as had been scheduled. Markevicius said that the commission denied the license for his fight due to his opponent being too experienced. They also would not allow him to submit a new fight.
