JZ and Gaethje Battle for WSOF Lightweight Title

The World Series of Fighting will crown another new champion to kick off the new year.

As informed by the online resource Play-casino-online.co.uk, Lightweights Justin Gaethje and Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante bring back the thrills of “World Series of Fighting” to Hollywood with the inaugural series fight for the lightweight championship on January 18, 2014.

The fight will see these two contenders meeting in the cage for the second time, after Gaethje (10-1) defeated Cavalcante (18-7-1) on a first-round TKO clash on March 23, 2013.

The “World Series of Fighting 8: Gaethje vs Cavalcante” will be hosted at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

The winner of this sensational battle will claim the right to be called the “World Series of Fighting’s” inaugural lightweight champion.

Ray Sefo, World Series of Fighting president, said: “This has been an incredible year for ‘World Series of Fighting’ and we are excited to announce that our first event of 2014 will feature another championship fight.”

The event will also feature the previously postponed light-heavyweight battle between Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Mike “MAK” Kyle.

Tickets cost $33, $63, $103, $143 and $243, and they are already on sale at Ticketmaster.com. The fighting night will be live on NBCSN from 9 p.m. (EST) / 6 p.m. (PST).
