After two MMA bouts where her opponents smothered her and avoided prolonged standup exchanges, Felice Herrig finally got the monkey off her back and arm bars her way to victory. Herrig submits Michelle Gutierrez in the second of their match in Unconquered 1:November Reign. This is the L’il Bulldog’s first MMA win and her record is now 1-2.

Felice Herrig may be a midwesterner, but she is currently representing on the West Coast. It’s hardly a vacation for Herrig though. The Lil’ Bulldog is in San Diego training with UFC veteran Brandon Vera and her good friend and “Fight Girls” castmate Kerry Verra for an upcoming MMA fight.

The two met while taping the reality show “Fight Girls.” Carano will be fighting Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos for Strikeforce on August 15. Felice will be in San Jose cage side for that fight to support her friend. With the fight still weeks away Felice could not wait to share her thoughts on the match up, so she shares her perspective in the latest Lil’ Bulldog V-Log.
