Here’s how I scored the fight:
Round 1: Maynard 10-8
Round 2: Edgar 10-9
Round 3: Maynard 10-9
Round 4: Edgar 10-9
Round 5: Edgar 10-9

As I wrote over at Sports Untapped, I had it 47-47, a draw. I have no idea how two of those judges gave round 3 to Frankie Edgar. I thought the most difficult round to judge was round 5, which I gave to Edgar. I can definitely see though how some people might have thought Maynard won the round. Maynard himself echoed that same sentiment, and thought he won the fight. At least we’ll get to see an immediate rematch, and the odds of another draw are infinitesimal.
