Dan Downes, How Did You Not Tap?

Chicago’s Dan Downes stepped in for Jonathan Brookins to fight Jeremy Stephens at the TUF Finale on Saturday night. It was Stephens’ 12th fight in the UFC, and just the first for Downes. Stephens proved to be a bit too much to handle for Downes at this stage of his career, but again he showed amazing grit and determination. And flexibility.

That Downes didn’t tap from this Stephens’ Kimura is just amazing. He might need a new nickname like ‘Stretch Armstrong’ or ‘Plastic Man’.
