Fight Tour’s event in Rockford has been pushed back one week. The reason behind the date switch is a scheduling conflict with the athletic commission, according to Fight Tour rep Matt Phillips. So instead of August 13th, Fight Tour: Sylvia vs Adams will be now take place on August 20th.
The move is the latest setback for the event. Hermes Franca was initially scheduled to fight Peter Graves on this card, but was then arrested in Oregon on charges of sexual abuse. According to Sherdog, Franca is scheduled for trial on the charges on July 12 in Oregon City.
UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell and current contender Frank Mir were scheduled to appear at the event, but we’ve yet to receive confirmation if they will be at the rescheduled event.
