Jens Pulver still has the motor running. He defeated Coty “Ox” Wheeler at MMA Fight Pit: Genesis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pulver displayed excellent footwork and boxing in taking out Wheeler, who was fighting in his hometown. Pulver is now 3-1 since moving to Team Curran.
You could say Jens knocked him out twice, which you’ll see in the video below. The referee was a bit indecisive, but Jens still was able to get the job done. It was surprising to see Jens not attack until the ref called it, but maybe he saw something in Wheeler’s eyes that the ref didn’t. Here’s the video.
