Cage Fighter and…Chess Master?

You’ve probably heard it said that MMA is the ultimate game of physical chess. One fighter takes what he has learned from playing the real game of chess into the cage. And he’s successful at both. Here’s a look at Canadian fighter Ryan Jimmo, who fights in the MFC – Maximum Fighting Championship.

Shortly after that piece aired, Jimmo went out and defeated former UFC fighter Thierry Sokoudjou via unanimnous decision at MFC 31 to retain his MFC title. That was Jimmo’s 9th win in a row, moving his record to 12-1.
