When we caught up with Mitch Nix at Krav Maga Illinois’ Bas Rutten seminar, he told us that he was comfortable taking his title fight against Andrew Navickis wherever it might go.
He proved that out in the fight, which took place in Hoffman Estates at Fight Card’s “No Mercy 2011” event on October 22. It was a spirited back and forth between the two fighters, until Navickis seemingly ran low on gas and Nix scored a double that he quickly turned into a full mount.
Nix told us at the seminar that he would like to try and win a Golden Gloves championship if he wins the FCE belt, which he did.
