The new boxing movie “Southpaw” with Jake Gyllenhaal looks promising. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 31, 2015. It was originally supposed to star Eminem, but Gyllenhaal serves as the lead. Check out the trailer below.

The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua, who directed “Training Day,” and it’s written by Kurt Sutter of the mega-hit “Sons of Anarchy.” Gyllenhaal stars in the pic along with Rachel McAdams, 50 Cent, Forrest Whittaker, Tyrese Gibson and boxer Victor Ortiz.
