Team Toro’s Mitch Nix took a Muay Thai fight in Michigan last weekend, fighting Bobby Morrison at “Attack KZoo” for the Farang Fight League.
Nix just defended his Fight Card middleweight title in May, and he won a Chicago Golden Gloves title last year.
Those were his two short-term goals when we interviewed Nix at a Bas Rutten seminar back in 2011. We spent just a few minutes with Nix, but you could tell that he is a very focused and motivated martial artist. It was evident that he takes his craft and skill progression very seriously, especially for someone who is so young.
